According to the request of the Elion Resources Group, a company is located in the Kubuqi Desert, Dr. Juan Shen, as a consultant for international communication, made a video "The Road to Kubuqi". It shows how the people fight against desertification, how the people build a green area is an oasis to bring an ecological life.

July, 2015

After a year of preparation, filming for the documentary Planète Sable (China) finally began. Places include the Badain Jaran, Tenger and Kubuqi deserts in the provinces of Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia and Beijing. Scientists and entrepreneurs were interviewed in the fight against desertification. Dr. Juan Shen, as a co-author, organized all documents and interviews, as well as cooperation with institutes, organizations and governments.

Asian Side of Doc

Asian Side of Doc is the documentary festival instead in Xianmen, 17-20 March 2015. It is also a platform to present and exchange programs between channels and productions.
Dr. Juan Shen is invited to present the series Planète Sable with Eric Verniere from Monalisa Production.

Festival of Audiovisual Science

Chief Editor and author, Dr. Juan Shen, was invited by the Festival and the Audiovisual Science Conference organized by the China Science and Technology Association. Participants include those responsible for science, culture and education channels such as CCTV-10, NHK, Discovery, BBC, PBS, as well as productions for documentary programs.

Search for Planet Sand -China

The research for "China, green plants vs yellow sand", one of episodes of the series documentary"Planet Sand" has begun. It is a cooperation of ARTE and Monalisa production. This series consists of five episodes.
Dr. Juan Shen is co-author of the episode "China".
